2.3 Technical Information

This information helps us improve our service, diagnose technical issues, prevent fraud, and ensure security.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Our primary uses include:

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We process your information based on legitimate business interests, contractual necessity, legal obligations, and with your consent when required.

5. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your privacy and do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. However, we may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

6. Data Retention

All third parties with whom we share information are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to us.

7. Your Privacy Rights

We take the security of your information seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

While we implement robust security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable security practices. If you become aware of any security vulnerability, please contact us immediately at security@followroster.com.

9. Third-Party Services and Integrations

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

10. International Data Transfers

We will respond to your request within 30 days (or as required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request to protect your privacy and security.

13. Contact Us

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and believe we have not adequately addressed your privacy concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze service usage, and provide personalized content. These technologies help us:

Our hosting provider supplies a country code derived from the request IP address. We use it at the request edge only to assign a prior-consent, standard, tracking-blocked, or US Do Not Track choice regime. The browser receives only those coarse policies in functional first-party cookies; we do not place the country code in these cookies.

Where prior consent is required, optional analytics and advertising storage is disabled until you select Accept all in our privacy choices notice. In other locations enabled by our regional policy, we may use basic, pseudonymous PostHog pageview measurement to understand aggregate site traffic. It uses a separate random browser identifier stored locally and is not linked to your account. This regional default does not enable identified product events, advertising tags, campaign attribution, or session recording. If you reject optional tracking, all optional PostHog measurement is disabled and core site and account features remain available. Global Privacy Control always disables optional browser tracking. Do Not Track also disables it by default. Visitors whose request is identified as US-based may explicitly select Accept all to enable optional tracking despite Do Not Track; a previous general acceptance does not enable this exception. We save that specific choice locally, and you can withdraw it at any time. This choice never overrides Global Privacy Control. Outside that US choice regime, Do Not Track continues to disable optional browser tracking.

Google Consent Mode communicates an explicit choice to Google. Google Tag Manager and the Google analytics and advertising tags it controls are not loaded until you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Privacy choices button displayed on the site. Withdrawing consent clears optional tracking data stored by this site from your browser.

When you consent, we may store campaign identifiers (such as GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, UTM parameters, Meta click IDs, and affiliate click IDs). To measure sign-ups, trials, purchases, and renewals, we may send Google and Meta event details, transaction identifiers, conversion value and currency, and a cryptographically hashed version of your email address. We do not send your account password or payment-card number for advertising measurement.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies, but doing so may affect service functionality and your ability to use certain features.

Our service integrates with various third-party services to provide functionality, process payments, and improve user experience. These services may collect information about you independently or in connection with our service:

These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they handle your information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services, but we choose our partners carefully and ensure they meet our security and privacy standards.

Our service operates globally, and your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

When we transfer your information internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected:

By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence. We will continue to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, regardless of where it is processed.

Our service is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction for consent to data processing). If you are under the age of 13, please do not use our service or provide any personal information to us.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to:

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@followroster.com, and we will take appropriate steps to remove such information from our systems.

Your continued use of our service after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
