Question 1

What is FollowRoster?

Accepted Answer

FollowRoster is a no-password Instagram analytics tool. Enter a public username and we scan public follower data to show unfollowers, accounts that don't follow back, recent follows, and engagement insights.

Question 2

Is FollowRoster free to use?

Accepted Answer

It's free to start. You can enter a username and preview results without creating an account. A free account adds basic analytics and saved scan history. Paid plans unlock complete lists, multiple accounts, and exports.

Question 3

Do I need to log in with my Instagram account?

Accepted Answer

No. You never give us your Instagram password. Scans read public profile data from a username only. You can optionally create an FollowRoster account to save history.

Question 4

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Open the homepage, paste a public Instagram username, and tap Search Now. The first scan becomes your baseline. Run another scan later to see who unfollowed.

Question 5

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

We never store Instagram passwords. Scans use public information only, and account data is protected with encryption. You can delete your data from Account Settings.

Question 6

What exactly does the unfollower tracker do?

Accepted Answer

Each scan snapshots your public follower list. Later scans are compared against earlier ones so anyone who dropped off appears as an unfollower, timestamped to the scan that detected the change.

Question 7

How accurate is the unfollower detection?

Accepted Answer

Accuracy matches the public lists Instagram exposes at scan time. Private accounts, blocked users, and in-progress scans can produce partial lists. History starts from your first completed scan.

Question 8

Can I see who visits my profile?

Accepted Answer

No tool can reliably show Instagram profile visitors. We focus on follower-list changes, not-following-back, recent public follows, and post-like engagers — signals that come from public data.

Question 9

What are 'Top Engagers'?

Accepted Answer

Top Engagers ranks followers by how often they like your recent posts, so you can see your biggest fans without guessing.

Question 10

Can I track multiple accounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes on Premium. Switch the tracked public profile from your dashboard and keep scan-based history per account (limits apply).

Question 11

How often is my data updated?

Accepted Answer

Whenever you run a scan. Re-run anytime to refresh lists and compare against earlier snapshots.

Question 12

What are the subscription plans?

Accepted Answer

Weekly Premium ($4.99/week), Monthly Premium ($14.99/month), and Yearly Premium ($0.99 for 3 days, then $39.99/year). All paid plans include complete lists, not-following-back, and advanced analytics.

Question 13

Do you offer a trial period?

Accepted Answer

Yearly Premium starts with a 3-day intro at $0.99, then $39.99/year. You can cancel anytime before the intro ends.

Question 14

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from Account Settings. You keep premium access until the current period ends. No further charges after cancel.

Question 15

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Apple Pay, depending on your region and checkout provider.

Question 16

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

See our Refund Policy. Eligible unused time may be refunded according to that page; contact extensionkit@gmail.com, WhatsApp (+852 6392 9443), or Telegram (@extensionkit) if something went wrong with checkout.

Question 17

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Accepted Answer

Yearly Premium is the lowest per-month rate, with a short intro price for new subscribers.

Question 18

Will FollowRoster access my Instagram account?

Accepted Answer

No login, no connected Instagram session, no password field. We only read public profile information associated with the username you enter.

Question 19

Is FollowRoster affiliated with Instagram?

Accepted Answer

No. FollowRoster is an independent analytics tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Question 20

Can I use FollowRoster safely without risking my Instagram account?

Accepted Answer

Because we never log into Instagram as you, there is no session to flag. We still only analyze public profiles and recommend not sharing passwords with any tracker.

Question 21

What data do you collect from me?

Accepted Answer

The username you search, optional account email, scan snapshots, and billing metadata if you subscribe. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

Question 22

Do you comply with privacy regulations?

Accepted Answer

We design the product around public data and provide data deletion in Account Settings. See Privacy Policy for GDPR-related requests.

Question 23

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Premium plans can export follower-change lists in CSV and JSON formats.

Question 24

What if I encounter a technical issue?

Accepted Answer

Reach out via email at extensionkit@gmail.com, WhatsApp (+852 6392 9443), or Telegram (@extensionkit) with the username you scanned and a screenshot. We typically reply promptly within one business day.

Question 25

Why isn't my account data loading?

Accepted Answer

The profile may be private, the username may be wrong, or Instagram may be rate-limiting public list reads. Try again later or confirm the account is public.

Question 26

Why do some unfollower lists appear empty?

Accepted Answer

Your first scan is a baseline — unfollowers appear from the second scan onward. An empty list after later scans simply means no one dropped off between snapshots.

Question 27

What if my analysis is taking too long?

Accepted Answer

Large public accounts take longer because follower lists are paged. Keep the tab open; if a scan stalls, refresh and start again.

Question 28

Is there an API for developers?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. The product is a web app.

Question 29

Why did I lose followers?

Accepted Answer

People unfollow, Instagram may remove spam accounts, and inactive users get pruned. The tracker shows who left so you can separate real drop-off from noise.

Question 30

How can I grow my Instagram account?

Accepted Answer

Post consistently, reply to engagers, and prune accounts that never follow back if that matches your strategy. Use Top Engagers and growth charts to see what actually works.

Question 31

How can I know which content performs best?

Accepted Answer

Pair Instagram's native insights with scan history: posts that coincide with follower gains are usually your keepers.

Question 32

Does FollowRoster help with engagement?

Accepted Answer

It won't post for you. It shows who likes your work and who left, so you can spend time on the relationships that matter.

Question 33

Can I use FollowRoster for my business account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creators and businesses use scan history, not-following-back lists, and alerts to monitor public audience changes without handing over passwords.
